Developing personalities and using technical knowledge for innovation, with the vision of shaping the future positively and improving the world - this is what the newly founded VDE university group at THI wants to achieve. Master's student Julian Klinger, who was elected spokesperson, emphasizes: "We are looking forward to taking part in various events and networking as a VDE university group. We are always open to new members and new knowledge."

The VDE, one of the largest technology associations in Europe, has stood for innovation and technical progress for over 130 years. VDE is the only organization in the world to unite science, standardization, testing, certification, and application consulting under one roof. The VDE mark has stood for the highest safety standards and consumer protection for 100 years. We are committed to research and promoting young talent and encourage lifelong learning through in-service training. 2,000 employees at over 60 locations worldwide, more than 100,000 volunteer experts, and around 1,500 companies are shaping a future worth living in the VDE network. The VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies) has its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main.
