That's why I chose this study course:
Business Information Systems is a wonderful bridge between the business world and Computer Science. Here you get a deeper insight into IT, which shapes the day-to-day business of the entire company every day. This gives you a more comprehensive understanding of the connections between business and IT, which is incredibly helpful in today's increasingly digital world.

Contents of my academic studies:

The basics of both Computer Science and Business Administration.

In the higher semesters, there are more modules on interface topics that illustrate the connection between IT and business.
There are also management modules with an IT focus, such as IT project management.

Related study courses at the THI:
Digital Business - where the focus in Digital Business is on the economic part and in Business Information Systems the focus is more on the technical part.

My favourite thing about THI:

• Small study groups
• Practical lectures
• Friendly professors and lecturers

You should have these professional strengths for the study course:
Programming knowledge is not absolutely necessary, as you are taught it in the first two semesters, but knowing the basics helps immensely.

My tip for study orientation:
Really listen to what you want for yourself and don't be influenced by other people's expectations or wishes. Most people already know roughly what they want, but are unsettled by the opinions of others - so just listen to your own conscience! :)
