Study profile

That's why I chose this degree course:
The course offers a good mix of theory and practice. Lectures are held in class-like settings, where you can also ask questions directly to the professor. In addition, there are practicals for many lectures, where you work in the laboratory and can thus understand the material from the lecture even better.

This is how I informed myself:
I searched the internet specifically for engineering degree courses that you can study on a dual basis. That's how I came across the THI website. I was able to find out a lot about my course there.

Contents of my degree course:
In the foundation course, you learn the basics of electrical engineering and natural sciences as a foundation for your subsequent studies.
Then it continues until the practical semester with advanced subjects in electronics, electromobility and other engineering subjects such as measurement and control technology. A team-building project, in which you complete a project with around ten students in two semesters, is also part of the 4th and 5th semesters. Finally, there is only the Bachelor's thesis.

You should have these technical strengths for the course:
You should have a general interest in technology. Excellent grades in math or physics are not a must, as you are taught all the basics in the first two semesters.

My favorite subject:
Embedded Systems

You can pursue these careers after your Bachelor's degree:
Development engineer in the automotive industry, sales engineer, working for an energy supplier ...

My favourite thing about THI:
The relationship between the students and the professors, who you can always approach if you have any questions or misunderstandings
