That's why I chose this degree course:
My father also studied it and I've always found technology exciting. However, as I didn't want to make a firm decision on an industry, I chose general mechanical engineering.

What I studied:
Statics and materials engineering, as well as design and thermodynamics are all part of the course. There are internships in many subjects, which give you a better understanding of the subject matter and also offer a nice change from the everyday lecture routine.

You should have these character traits for the course:
Diligence for the exam phase and enjoy technology. It also helps if you already have a basic knowledge of physics.

The best experience/project during my studies: 
Winning the Beerpong tournament together with fellow students.

My favorite subject:
Materials engineering

My insider tips for student life:
The food at Reimanns is highly recommended (also for the lunch break) and the parties/pub crawls organized by StudentsLife are a great way to meet new people.

My tip for study orientation:
Visit university information days and many schools also offer career/study orientation.
