War, climate change, deindustrialization – crises are omnipresent, forcing the German economy to undergo a fundamental transformation process. The Ingolstadt region in particular, with its long industrial history, is facing major challenges. At this year's G-Forum, experts from science and business discussed how start-ups can successfully master these challenges with the help of digitalization, artificial intelligence, and electromobility.

In presentations and discussions, they examined the role of entrepreneurship, innovation, and SMEs in managing change from different perspectives. The keynote speeches by Dr Martin F. Köhler from Audi and Professor Sandra Rothenberger from the Université libre de Bruxelles provided food for thought.

The festive conclusion of the two-day conference was the social evening in the Exerzierhaus. The Best Paper Awards were also presented at this event. The Family Business and SME Research Award went to Sonia Hennemann, and the KSG Entrepreneurship Research Award to Jan Poblocki. The Norbert Szyperski Technology and Innovation Management Research Award went to Sidney Hribersek and Professor Matthias Menter. Valeria Rott was honored with the Entrepreneurship Research Newcomer Award.
