Excellence Lab: THI-InES participation in a delegation trip to Addis Ababa

In a week full of enlightening interactive workshops, and invaluable networking, delegates from Ethiopian and Bavarian universities, including representatives from THI-InES, met in the vibrant metropolis of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. 
The event was coordinated by the Bayerische Forschungsallianz (BayFOR) GmbH, in collaboration with the Bavarian Office for Africa. Together, they organised the "Excellence Lab: Grant Proposal Writing and Project Implementation for Horizon Europe Funding" and informative networking visits. 
Over forty academics from a diverse range of higher education institutions across Ethiopia attended the significant gathering. The event was a platform for discussions on EU's funding programs, specifically Horizon Europe and Erasmus+, and provided numerous networking opportunities. 
Four delegates from Bavaria, including representatives from THI-InES, participated at the Excellence Lab in Addis Ababa for the event. They got the chance to benefit from the workshop and had time to tour various research and innovation institutes across the city. These tours provided them with an excellent platform for discussions about potential future partnerships. Undoubtedly, it was an inspiring week filled with learning and prospective collaboration opportunities.
