New in winter semester 2024/2025: Japanese A1 for beginners with lecturer Mayumi Imaki-Radon.

The new introductory course is aimed at students who are interested in Japan, Japanese culture and landscape or mangas. The course teaches basic Japanese characters as well as simple, everyday phrases and their use in easy communicative exercises. No previous knowledge is required - just curiosity and motivation.

The offer starts with a beginners' course and will be supplemented by advanced courses in the coming semesters if there is sufficient demand and the lecturer is available. Registration for the Japanese course takes place as usual in September via the Language Center's registration procedure.
