今日は / Konnichiwa - The Language Center at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is expanding its range of courses: a Japanese course will be offered for the first time from the coming winter semester. Prof. Dr. Thomas Becker, Head of the Language Center, is particularly pleased to have gained Mayumi Imaki-Radon, an experienced language lecturer, for this course.

The new introductory course is aimed at students who are interested in Japan, Japanese culture and landscape or mangas. The course teaches basic Japanese characters as well as simple, everyday phrases and their use in easy communicative exercises. No previous knowledge is required - just curiosity and motivation.

The offer starts with a beginners' course and will be supplemented by advanced courses in the coming semesters depending on demand and availability of the lecturer. Registration for the Japanese course takes place as usual in September via the Language Center's enrolment procedure.
