New at THI Business School: Prof. Dr. Alexander Baur

THI Business School is pleased to announce that Prof. Dr. Alexander Baur has been appointed to the Research Professorship for Innovative Mobility Concepts and Artificial Intelligence Business Models on October 1. Most recently, Prof. Bauer worked as a project manager at Bosch Management Consulting, the imanagement consultancy of Robert Bosch GmbH. There he accompanied a wide variety of product innovations from the definition of the business model to scaling in the market.

Previously, he worked in Berlin for the car sharing provider Share Now, formerly car2go. Here, he was responsible for Pricing & Analytics team. Based on artificial intelligence methods, he developed and introduced a dynamic pricing, which was used for the first time in the car sharing industry.

He completed his academic education at the University of Augsburg, where he studied business administration and subsequently earned his doctorate at the Chair of Analytics & Optimization on the topic of "Customer-centric Pricing with Advanced Analytics".
