Participants at the "Target to Patient" conference in Hinxton, UK, were able to enjoy an exciting presentation by Prof. Dr. Alexander Schuhmacher, Professor of Life Science Management at THI Business School. The conference, which is organized by the EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) and European pharmaceutical companies, took place at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, UK, one of the world's most renowned institutions in the field of genomics and computational biology. Prof. Dr. Alexander Schuhmacher was invited as a guest speaker on the topic of "Leading Pharma Innovation - How to create and capture value?". In addition to strategic issues, new biomedical and digital technologies for researching and developing medicines were also presented and discussed.

The "Life Science Management" (B.A.) Bachelor's degree program at the THI Business School deals with these topics of the future and prepares students for a career in one of the most important growth industries in Germany with a mixture of business administration and biomedicine.

The application period for the winter semester 2024/25 for the Life Science Management degree program is from 02 May to 31 August.
