First place went to the team from Green Spot. Their smart platform is based on a new concept for parking: an app displays available parking spaces in real time, enables reservations and also integrates private parking spaces. The result? A 37 per cent reduction in fuel consumption and an annual saving of 4.83 billion kilograms of CO2. This visionary idea not only received a lot of applause, but also prize money of 800 euros. Supported by Audi and Cleverciti, the team is already planning to expand to other German cities.
Static Reach took second place with ‘myReach’, an innovative robotic arm that makes everyday life easier for wheelchair users. Intuitive controls using hand tracking and wristbands make it easy to use, while sustainable materials and an appealing design round off the product. The team combines functionality with style and shows how technology can really change lives. They received prize money of 600 euros for this ground-breaking development.
"Pfotenparadies Ingolstadt" was also able to impress with its original concept and took third place. Inspired by the idea of a kindergarten, the team creates loving and sustainable care for dogs that promotes social interaction and well-being. This innovative approach to dog care not only amazed the jury, but also the audience.
The closing event made it clear how much power there is in young founders. With a lot of passion and the support of strong partners, the teams brought their visions to life and sent a clear signal for the innovative strength in Ingolstadt. The evening was not only a celebration of the best ideas, but also an inspiring outlook on the future of the region.
